1000 Minutes a Day

Time is more plentiful than we think, We're gifted with over 1,000 free minutes each day.

After my millionth (+ or -) complaint about not enough time in the day, I decided to actually crunch the numbers. When I subtracted about 7 hours for sleeping (or trying to sleep) I came up with 1020 minutes we get to spend each and every day.

Of course it takes a lot of time to care for ourselves (feed, bathe, clothe, etc.) and even more if you also need to take care of others, plus time does not equal energy, but still...

One thousand minutes. Huh.

Changed how I feel about time, decluttering my starved feeling about it, and cheering me up about how many more tiny or larger tasks I could probably accomplish in a day without breaking much of a sweat. Of course, the biggest time waster is resisting doing those tasks, and the best thing to declutter on that subject.

Now I'm feeling extravagantly rich with time (at least occasionally) and inspired to spend it lavishly instead of miserly.
